Traditionally in India, yoga was passed down from one teacher to one student. Yoga Therapy is a one-to-one session specifically customized for your individual needs. Based on anything you want to work on (muscular and skeletal imbalances, cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, pain, chronic conditions, exhaustion, insomnia, panic attacks, etc.), the process usually begins with a posture and movement assessment, followed by a breathing assessment. We will then define short and long-time goals, as further stepping-stones towards addressing physical, mental and emotional imbalances. Along with specific yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and/or meditation practices will be part of a rounded programme, which you then will be able to practice at home.
